delivered environmental benefits!
Two Kemco 6.5 million BTU Low NOx Direct Contact Water Heaters
replaced an old inefficient boiler system used to heat water
for automobile body paint preparations. Besides burning less
fossil fuel, Kemco’s water heater fit the manufacturer’s
global energy saving and environmental goals.
The old system was rated 55% - 60% energy efficient
compared to 98+% efficiency with the new system.
“We’re no longer losing waste condensate from
the steam boiler, and we estimate this has reduced our water
consumption by about one million gallons annually.”
This facility managed to save money, cut emissions and
reduce energy consumption with one changeover, and they commented
“that’s three benefits in one move, and you can’t
get much better than that.” In addition,
the facility qualified for a substantial grant from the local
Gas Energy Efficiency Program.
