Since our inception in 1969, Kemco has led the industry with sustainable, customizable, low-cost solutions to help its clients maintain their competitive edge. As demand for its systems grew, so did the size and capabilities of the company. Today, Kemco continues to lead the way in water and energy solutions, providing guaranteed results in recycling rates, energy efficiency, and operating costs.

Kemco Systems is founded in Milwaukee, WI by Skip Kemberling and the continuous tube Heat Exchanger is perfected.

Kemco introduces Flash Steam and Steam Heating systems to the industry.

Kemco is the first to introduce the 99.7% fuel efficient Direct Contact Water Heater.

Continuing its pioneering role in heat recovery, Kemco introduces the Boiler Stack Economizer.

The first Pre-Packaged, Ready-to-Use Water Systems are marketed to the industry.

Kemco is the first to adopt and utilize Computer Assisted Design (CAD) within the industry.

The first ASME Texas State approval for Direct Contact Waters is awarded to Kemco.

Kemco headquarters relocates to Clearwater, FL.

Kemco implements the first computerized Plant Control System (precursor to the Monarch).

Wastewater Treatment and Filtration systems marketing begins.

The Air Sparged Hydrocyclone (ASH), Vibro Separator (Shaker Screen), and Rotary Screen are introduced.

Program Logic Controls (PLC) are included on all relevant equipment.

Kemco launches the first full computerized plant monitoring and trending system, Monarch Controls.

Kemco continues to pave the way in water reuse and recycle with the advent of the Ceramic Microfiltration (CMF) and Nanofiltration systems

Obtained NSF Certifications and Kemco is among the first to be pre-certified to produce Low NOx Direct Contact Water Heaters.

Kemco introduces new technologies: Turbo Disc Filtration and Cool Down Exchanger.
