The Monarch Control Panel provides intelligent monitoring and control for Kemco water and wastewater systems, optimizing process variables, logging performance data and ensuring systems operate efficiently.
Water is a necessary component across industrial applications and the wastewater produced as many options for treatment and continued reuse. From food processing to commercial laundry and other applications, wastewater treatment and discharge can look wildly different from facility to facility. Despite the variations, almost any industrial process involving wastewater stands to benefit from the integration of Kemco Systems’ patented KLEENWATER™ System. Combining Ceramic Membrane Filtration (CMF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology, Kemco’s KLEENWATER™ System is the only patented system capable of recycling water while maintaining its thermal energy.
On average, the KLEENWATER™ System yields reuse rates of 75-85% for facilities’ water resources and thermal energy.
The KLEENWATER™’s CMF membranes are designed with a porosity of less than .05 microns.
The KLEENWATER™’s RO systems consistently measure at less than 300 PPM, often registering less than 100 PPM.
The KLEENWATER™ System removes commonplace industrial contaminants, including:
- Fats, Oils & Greases (FOGs)
- Suspended solids
- Viruses & Bacteria
- Microplastics
- PFAS
- Colors & Odors
Between global water scarcity, rising costs of resources and tightening regulations, water recycling in industrial settings is more pertinent now than ever before. Because the KLEENWATER™ System relies on physical processes, it can reduce facilities’ chemical costs. Coupled with thermal stability lessening the demand on boilers and reducing natural gas consumption, the KLEENWATER™ system is both an economical and environmentally friendly solution for industrial wastewater.
Traditional membrane filtration systems can suffer from failure-inducing buildups and require considerable chemical treatments to maintain functionality; however, the KLEENWATER™’s ceramic membranes possess a heightened tolerance for corrosive or damaging wastewater chemicals and media. The KLEENWATER™’s CMF process removes an impressive percentage of wastewater contaminants without the need for chemical agents and produces properly treated filtrate free of impurities.
After recycled wastewater undergoes CMF filtration, it is further purified through the KLEENWATER™’s high-pressure RO component. Purpose-built RO membranes remove any remaining dissolved constituents from the filtrate.
KLEENWATER™ in Food Processing
With uses ranging from sanitation, peeling, sorting, heating, cooling, transportation and more, it is clear why food processing facilities have significant water needs. Strict food and safety standards mandate process water must be potable, yet much of a facility’s wastewater is perfectly viable for recycling and reuse. The KLEENWATER™ System can sanitize food processing wastewater from any segment, rendering water free of contamination and suitable for any non-process application.
KLEENWATER™ in Commercial Laundry
The commercial laundry industry was built on abundant access to inexpensive water; but as increasing scarcity drives up prices, some facilities continue to send millions of gallons and dollars down the drain. The KLEENWATER™ System ensures wastewater remains useful long after the initial rinse cycle. As no heat is lost during the KLEENWATER™’s process, less heat is required to return water to a temperature suitable for sanitization. Furthermore, water recycling can reduce facility expenditures on detergents and softeners due to surfactant carry over. Wastewater recycling is an accessible option for industrial laundries seeking to reduce water costs without sacrificing the quality of their final product.

Kemco's Hydrocyclone System
Kemco’s hydrocyclone system is a centrifugal separating device which is designed for separating solids from liquids. The Kemco Hyrdrocyclone can be used as a stand alone product to reduce the sand and gravel from laundry waste, or as a pre-filtration for the Kemco’s KLEENWATER™ System.
Additional Features:
- High volume capacity
- Fine micron separation
- No moving parts
- Small space requirements
- Low maintenance
- Abrasion resistant urethane
Sludge Dewatering Systems
Sludge dewatering systems mechanically separate solid waste residuals from wastewater, enabling cleaner effluent discharge while concentrating solids for disposal. Filter presses process sludge from multiple wastewater treatment operations, including Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), ash handling and ceramic membrane filtration, significantly reducing waste volume. By reducing moisture content in waste solids, these systems substantially decrease waste volume, lowering treatment, disposal and hauling costs.
Helping Our Clients Redefine Efficiency Since 1969!
“We are always happy with the service Kemco Systems is providing our surgical center. The technicians are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous”
“Kemco Systems has done an awesome job keeping up with our boiler chemical needs. Since they have been treating our boiler system, our scale build up has been reduced dramatically. We have had no scale and no tubes have needed to be replaced. The boiler inspector was even impressed with how clean it was.”
"I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and Kemco for all of your assistance with our water reclamation system during my time as Chief Engineer. I am still of the opinion that as the technology for membrane materials becomes more advanced and as water reutilization becomes an increasingly important issue, that the systems designed and built by Kemco will become increasingly valuable and relevant."
