Water Heating Solutions
Kemco designs, engineers and manufactures fully integrated water systems to match your plant requirements. Water heating is the first step in unsurpassed fuel savings, wastewater heat energy reclamation, water conservation and sewer cost savings.
Conventional gas water heaters operate at about 70% system efficiency, returning only $70 for every $100 spent on fuel. Steam boilers, even with a heat exchanger to boost efficiency, return only $65 for every $100 spent.
The direct contact water heater’s non-pressure vessel does not require a licensed operator or high-pressure insurance. Boiler feed chemicals and high maintenance costs can now be avoided. In many applications, the Kemco direct contact water heater eliminates the need for steam entirely, giving you a 100% steam-free heating system.

Wastewater Heat Reclamation
Kemco’s Wastewater Heat Reclamation System recovers potentially lost thermal energy by capturing the heat from the wastewater and using it to preheat the incoming fresh water. This system can effectively preheat water to within 5°F to 10°F of the wastewater stream. This can recover up to 60% of the original energy expended and you can expect a return on initial investment from 12 to 24 months.Stack Economizer
The Kemco stack economizer will recover nearly 100% of the heat going up your stack; the dollars saved on fuel in just one year may be enough to pay for the cost of the system.
Steam Heater
Kemco’s steam heater is more efficient than live steam injection into the process water. Use of a shell and tube design allows for trapping and passing condensate back to the boiler feedwater system. Reducing the required amount of make-up water and treatment chemicals.
